Marena Matthews
Marena Matthews began her career as a Paediatric Occupational therapist and after many years of practice decided to combine Western medicine principles with Eastern energy medicine, particularly Kinesiology. She has been able to integrate both of these therapies to enhance the outcomes for her clients. Marena specialises in Early intervention for children particularly in the Sensory Processing and Developmental delay areas. She is passionate also in working her magic with adults and teenagers to assist them to harness their body's own natural healing intelligence, investigating areas that are causing blocks or dis-ease and clearing the path for a happier, fulfilled and contented you.

I'm a very passionate therapist who loves to improve people's lives and teach you how to do the same.
For the last 6 years I have been providing private Occupational Therapy consultation to Kindergartens across regional and rural Queensland. I have the privilege to be working intensively with Aboriginal and Torries Strait Islander communities especially the educators and children of Townsville and Thursday Island. This involves education and training and the creation of small groups that enhance a child's school readiness skills. I provide regular training to parents and teachers in relation to Sensory Processing Disorder and emotional regulation in children .
